The 8th International Conference GOR 2006

The 8th international conference and congress fair GENERAL ONLINE RESEARCH 2006 (GOR06) takes place March 21 until March 22, 2006 in the Ravensberger Spinnerei, Bielefeld, Germany.

Monday, 20th of March is the day for the pre conference workshops with several workshops during the whole day.

The GOR conference is organized each year in spring by the German Society for Online Research (D.G.O.F. e.V.). Key Sponsor of GOR06 is the Marked Research and consulting company TNS Infratest. Media Partner is Research & Results, the magazine for media-, market- and advertising research.

Scheduling

The progam committee has now finished its work on the conference program. It can still be slightly changed. Very soon you will also find abstracts to each contribution there. These abstracts you will also get in a printed version at the conference counter together with you personal dokuments and the up-to-date program printout.
What is still in discussion is the form of the GOR06 documentation. Most probable is that you can download most of the transparencies with an visitors passcode.

Registration Deadline
Registration is still possible for everybody. Deadline is March 11, 2006.

Conference fees

Conference fees include conference materials, two lunches, conference dinner, drinks and snacks during breaks.

Researchers: 150 Euros
Students: 90 Euros
Presenting participants: 120 Euros (first authors only)
Commerical participants (e.g. company representatives, free-lancers, consultants): 390 Euros

Participants living in the EU will have to pay full conference fees in advance. Other participants may pay their fees on the conference date at the venue. Day tickets are not available.
DGOF members are subject to a 20% conference fee reduction.
Early registrants (excluding DGOF members), who register before January 15, 2006 (for first authors December 24, 2005) receive a fee reduction of 15%.

Conference dates
Die Konferenz findet an folgenden Tagen statt:

Monday, 20th of March is the day for the pre conference workshops with several workshops during the whole day (not fixed yet).
Coference start: Tuesday, 21st of march 2006 (opening at about 8.30 a.m.) until
Conference end: Wednesday, 22nd of March (end at about 6.00 p.m.)

Also on Monday you will have the opportunity at the early bird meeting to get your conference folder ready and meet each other at this get together. A meeting for DGOF-members is in preparation also for Monday, 20th of March.
