Information for authors of posters
- Posters can be put up right from the beginning
of the conference (30-03-04, 8.00am). The way
to the exhibition rooms will be marked.
- There will be about two or three exhibition
rooms next to one another.
- You will find movable walls sized about 100cm
x 150cm to put your poster(s) on. Posters can
be formatted portrait or landscape.
- Posters offer a nice and easy opportunity
to get in contact with others sharing the same
research interests. Use this opportunity to
explain your poster step by step! Start some
conversation! This is in some way even more
effective (and of course much more fun!) than
giving a 15-minutes-talk.
- Make sure you have some smaller flyers (eg.
A4) to hand out to conference participants interested
in your research topic and results. Some paper&pencils
also may be very useful to offer the chance
for remarks whilst your poster is unattended
by yourself.
- Although the poster exhibition will last during
the whole conference, there will be a special
poster session (31-03-04, 11.00am). During this
poster session at least one person (author or
co-author) is supposed to stay next to your
poster to answer questions or to give some additional
information.
- The best poster will be awarded by a jury.
The winner of the poster award (EUR 500,-) will
be announced at the end of the conference (31-03-04,
5.30pm).
