Description of the content of the workshop: The workshop will introduce a number of techniques for writing questions to reduce biases and dishonesty in online surveys. It will also cover techniques to increase respondent engagement and increase the quality of data collected. Participants will put these techniques into practice via the re-writing of a provided questionnaire.
Goals of the workshop: To improve the participants' knowledge of techniques for creating engaging surveys which encourage respondents to answer honestly (and to spot when they are not)

Information about the instructor: Steve Wigmore comes originally from an advertising agency background but has been working in market research for the last 15 years. He has held a number of roles but and is currently Director of Modern Surveys at Kantar.
